Yes, I’ve gained a substantial amount of weight with this baby, and I’m sure a lot of women can relate. But I’ve been getting a lot of terrible hate for it, and it’s really saddening me. This baby means So much to me and Lior and we fought so hard to have it. It IS an ivf baby, and my body reacted very strangely to the meds (lots of water retention and weight gain) and to be honest it doesn’t bother me at all, as long as baby is healthy. It really is disheartening to see people shame me while I’m pregnant… this is part of the reason I hid from the world when I was pregnant with my twins… I gained over 120 lbs. I quickly lost it, but I knew I would be judged and made fun of. Anyway, I hope everyone finds it in their hearts to be kind and empathetic this holiday season… you never know badly your words can hurt. But I do realize no one is perfect… just try!
